  • 2017 - Price range: €0.0908 - €23.07

After the early January peak, around €32.68, LSK fell sharply over the course of the year. In the second half of the year, the price dropped from a few euros further toward €1. This decline took place during the broad crypto market pullback after the 2017 boom. In August, Lisk released Core 1.0 on the existing network, including a refreshed API and a new way for network components to communicate with each other. LSK ended the year at €1.16, about 93.3% lower than at the start.

LSK ended the year at €0.497, about 57.5% lower than at the start.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0.449 - €2.537
LSK started the year around €0.50 and quickly rose in January and early February to about €2.54. After that, the price pulled back. During the coronavirus shock in March, LSK briefly fell below €0.62, after which the price recovered and mostly moved around €1 for the rest of the year. In March, the Federal Reserve cut interest rates to nearly zero and announced large bond purchases in response to the economic shock. LSK ended the year at €0.947, about 90.5% higher than at the start.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0.900 - €9.390
LSK rose from about €0.95 at the start of the year to nearly €9.39 in May. After that came a steep drop; in the second half of the year, the price mostly moved between about €1.50 and €4. In August, Lisk switched from Mainnet v2 to v3. That upgrade changed, among other things, account addresses and the way transaction fees and delegates were handled. LSK ended the year at €2.07, about 78% lower than the May peak, but still 118.8% higher than at the start of the year.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0.635 - €2.866
LSK started the year around €2.07 and rose to about €2.87 in April. After that, the price kept falling; in November, it dropped below €0.70 during the broad market stress after the FTX collapse. Earlier that year, the Terra ecosystem had also collapsed, which hit the crypto market hard. LSK ended the year at €0.67, about 67.7% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0.6121 - €1.356
LSK rose in January and early February from about €0.67 to more than €1.35. After that, the price fell back and reached about €0.61 in September. In the final months, LSK recovered and ended the year at €1.248. In December, Lisk announced that it wanted to replace its own layer-1 network with an Ethereum layer-2. That marked a strategic shift; the move and token migration followed in 2024. Over all of 2023, LSK rose about 86.3%.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0.5813 - €2.95
LSK started January around €1.25 and rose to €2.95 in early March. After that, the price fell for a long time and reached about €0.58 in August. From that level, LSK recovered partially and ended the year at €0.881. In January, the U.S. securities regulator SEC approved trading in several spot bitcoin exchange-traded products, during a period when the crypto market drew a lot of attention from institutions. In addition, Lisk started the migration of LSK to Ethereum in May: eligible holders could swap their old tokens for LSK on Lisk L2. The new token also got a fixed maximum of 400 million tokens. In November, Lisk's public Ethereum layer-2 network went live. Over all of 2024, LSK fell about 29.4%.
