  • 2021 - Price range: €2.66 - €55.37
    Liquity launched on Ethereum in April with loans in LUSD backed by ETH as collateral. In May, LQTY fell during a broad sell-off across the crypto market; later, the price recovered and climbed to €55.37 in November. After that, it dropped sharply. LQTY ended the year at €4.57, about 91.7% lower than at the peak.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0.5142 - €6.93
    LQTY started the year around €4.57 and briefly rose to €6.93 in January. After that, the price fell sharply over the course of the year. The collapse of Terra and UST caused major turmoil in the crypto market in May; in November, the fall of FTX followed, which further fueled concerns about counterparty risk and liquidity. LQTY ended the year at €0.54, about 88.1% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0.5215 - €3.53
    LQTY started the year around €0.54 and rose quickly to €3.53 in February and March. Binance announced a spot listing for LQTY on February 28, making trading possible on a major crypto exchange. In March, USDC temporarily lost its peg to the dollar during the banking crisis around Silicon Valley Bank. After that, LQTY pulled back and traded lower for a long time before recovering to €1.38 toward the end of the year. Over all of 2023, LQTY rose about 153.4%.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0.4347 - €2.7361
    LQTY started the year around €1.38 and fell in the spring and summer, reaching around €0.43 in August. After that, the price recovered strongly and climbed to €2.74 in December, ending the year at €1.74. In February, Liquity introduced a new lending design with borrower-chosen interest rates and multiple types of ETH collateral. In September, the public release of the V2 code and the announcement of the BOLD stablecoin followed. At the start of 2024, U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs were also approved, an important step for regulated access to bitcoin.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.2004 - €2.1175
    LQTY started the year around €1.74 and rose to €2.12 in mid-January. After that, the price fell, with a temporary rebound in May, when Liquity V2 went live again after extra security checks. The first V2 version launched in January, but in February Liquity reported a problem with the Stability Pools and announced a new version. In October, LQTY dropped to €0.20 and ended the year at €0.32, about 81.5% lower than at the start.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.21905 - €0.372
    LQTY rose in January from €0.32 to €0.372, but then pulled back. In February, the price reached €0.21905. It then gradually recovered to €0.23967 at the end of March. During the same period, rating agency Bluechip gave BOLD an A- rating, an external assessment of the stablecoin's stability and structural risks. Over the quarter, LQTY fell about 25.6%.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.149485 - €0.29418
    LQTY started April around €0.24 and rose to €0.29418 in May. After that, the price declined steadily, with the sharpest drop in June. On June 25, LQTY was around €0.15; the quarter ended at €0.155815, about 34.6% lower than it started. In April, an exploit at the KelpDAO bridge caused concern and withdrawals across several DeFi lending platforms. The incident highlighted the risks around collateral and external infrastructure.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.13397 - €0.227485
    LQTY first fell to €0.13397 in July. After that, the price recovered, with a rebound at the end of July and again in August and September. On September 27, LQTY rose to €0.227485, after which the price slipped slightly and the quarter ended at €0.2091. Over the quarter, LQTY rose about 34.2%. In Europe, the maximum transition period under MiCA for existing crypto providers ended on July 1; after that, providers had to be licensed or wind down their services.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.189125 - €0.225845
    In the first days of October, LQTY traded around €0.21 and rose to €0.225845 on October 6. After that, it fell to €0.189125 on October 8, followed by a recovery to €0.208105 on October 9.
