    In May, XYO climbed to about €0,00671, but in the weeks after that, the price dropped sharply. After hitting a low around €0,00115 in June, the price recovered several times later that year and ended December at about €0,00289. In 2018, XY held token sales and the company offered a buyback program to certain buyers. In November, the XYO Network went live, an important step for the project's location data infrastructure.
  • 2019 - Price range: €0,000181 - €0,00347
    XYO started the year around €0,00289 and rose to about €0,00347 in the first few days. After that, the price fell for almost the entire year, with a brief bounce in June, and ended December around €0,000186. The yearly drop came to about 93.6%. In February, the COIN app went live. Users could earn rewards through location-related activities and redeem them for XYO tokens.

In July, XYO launched the beta version of Foreventory, a tool that let users analyze data from their Netflix account. That expanded the project's work from location data to personal data.

Over 2024, the price rose about 208.8%. In January, the SEC approved the listing and trading of U.S. spot bitcoin ETPs, an important step for regulated access to bitcoin. In June, XYO also became available on Base, an additional environment within the Ethereum ecosystem.

The existing XYO token took on a role in staking and network security; the new XL1 token was used for transaction fees and other functions on the network.
