Prom Price History


  • 2019 - Price range: €0.0911 - €0.4909
    Starting in July, Prom moved sharply up and down. In August, the price briefly rose to nearly €0.49, after which it dropped sharply in the fall to around €0.09. Recovery followed: Prom ended the year around €0.24, 162.2% higher than the November low. In June, Prom was listed on Bittrex, an international crypto exchange.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0.2328 - €4.4344
    Prom started the year around €0.24 and quickly climbed above €1 in January. After a pullback, the price moved between €0.40 and €0.80 in the spring, after which the rise accelerated later in the year. In December, Prom peaked at €4.43, but then fell back and ended around €1.54. That meant the price finished the year about 546.7% higher than at the start. The rise took place in a year when the coronavirus crisis led to major interest rate cuts and extra purchases of financial securities by the U.S. central bank.
  • 2021 - Price range: €1.5334 - €87.8233
    Prom started January around €1.54 and quickly rose above €20 in February. In February, Prometeus Labs announced that Prom would become the ecosystem token for its products. The project wanted to better connect decentralized data exchange with DeFi applications. By the end of April, the price had climbed to €87.82, after which a long decline followed. Prom ended the year around €10.50, about 88% lower than the high. In September, China tightened restrictions on crypto trading and mining, a major regulatory shock for the crypto market.
  • 2022 - Price range: €2.3057 - €13.0522
    Prom started the year around €10.50 and rose further in early January to about €13.05. After that, the price dropped sharply and reached about €2.31 in May. That decline came alongside the collapse of TerraUSD and LUNA, which caused heavy stress in the crypto market. In July, Prom shifted its focus to blockchain games and NFTs. The project expanded its marketplace for game NFTs and acquired HWC Studio, a developer of blockchain games. Prom later recovered to around €3.57, but still ended the year about 66.1% lower than where it started. The collapse of FTX also caused fresh turmoil in the crypto market in November.
  • 2023 - Price range: €3.3069 - €7.1441
    Prom started January around €3.57 and rose to about €7.14 in March. After that, the price fell back and stood around €3.31 in June. In March, the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank raised concerns about the reserves backing USDC; the stablecoin temporarily lost its peg to the dollar. Prom gradually recovered in the second half of the year and ended December around €5.55, about 55.6% higher than at the start of the year.
  • 2024 - Price range: €3.951 - €15.18
    Prom started the year around €5.55 and rose to about €15.18 in March. That same month, Prom announced a testnet, a network where users could try out the new blockchain infrastructure. After that, the price fell, with a low around €3.95 in August. In November, Prom's mainnet went live, allowing users and developers to actually use the network. Prom then recovered and ended the year around €5.89, about 6.1% higher than at the start. In early 2024, U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded products were also approved, giving investors access to bitcoin through a regulated exchange.
  • 2025 - Price range: €2.7667 - €10.405
    Prom started the year around €5.89 and fluctuated in the first few months. After a sharp drop, the price reached about €2.77 in June. That was followed by a strong recovery: in September, Prom climbed to €10.41. Toward the end of the year, the price fell back to about €7.46, still 26.6% higher than at the start. In February, about $1.5 billion in crypto was stolen from an Ethereum wallet at Bybit; the incident once again brought the security of crypto exchanges into focus.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.8105 - €7.6469
    Prom started January around €7.46, but dropped sharply over the course of the quarter. By the end of January, the price was around €1.28, and in February it mostly moved around €1. Prom ended March around €0.84, about 88.7% lower than at the start of the quarter. In March, the U.S. SEC and CFTC published new guidance on the treatment of crypto assets and related activities.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.72745 - €2.45085
    Prom started April around €0.85 and quickly rose to about €2.45 that month. After that, the price gradually declined. In May, it dropped sharply to around €0.93, and in early June Prom briefly fell further to about €0.73. The price then recovered and ended the quarter around €0.96, about 13.8% higher than at the start. In April, ESMA said crypto providers without a license must wind down their activities in an orderly way before the end of the European transition period on July 1.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.93815 - €6.8029
    Prom started July around €0.96 and stayed close to €1 for the first few weeks. Later in July, the price rose above €2, after which the climb accelerated in August. The price peaked that month at about €6.80 and then pulled back. Prom ended September around €5.69, about 491.5% higher than at the start of the quarter. In August, Upbit added Prom markets with trading pairs in Korean won and USDT, allowing users to trade directly in won as well.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €4.2478 - €5.92325
    In October, Prom fell from around €5.69 to about €4.51. The price briefly dropped to around €4.25 on October 6 and then partially recovered; on October 9, it was around €4.68. The decline took place during a period when the CFTC launched a public consultation on rules for crypto transactions and markets. This development was still just a proposal for discussion, not an implemented regulatory framework.
