  • 2017 - Price range: €0,0394 - €1,105
    POWR started around €0,0394 in November and quickly rose to about €1,11 in December. In the last days of the year, the price pulled back and closed around €0,84. Powerledger had completed its token sale in October to fund development of its sustainable energy marketplace.
  • 2018 - Price range: €0,0539 - €1,675
    POWR briefly climbed to about €1,68 in early January, but then fell for a long stretch. In August, Powerledger and BCPG tested a system in Bangkok that let electricity producers and users trade renewable power locally. The broad crypto market downturn continued in 2018; POWR ended the year around €0,071, about 91,6% lower than at the start.
  • 2019 - Price range: €0,0308 - €0,1259
    POWR started the year around €0,070 and moved higher in the first half, peaking around €0,126 in July. After that, the price gradually fell and ended the year around €0,031, about 55,7% lower than at the start. In November, Powerledger announced a pilot with Indian utilities to test solar energy trading between government buildings.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0,0285 - €0,1592
    POWR rose quickly in January and February to about €0,159, but dropped back to around €0,0285 during the March market crash. After that, the price recovered gradually and ended the year around €0,078, about 149,7% higher than at the start. In April, Powerledger announced a partnership with French energy supplier ekWateur to track the origin of electricity.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0,0719 - €0,8445
    POWR started the year around €0,078 and climbed strongly over the course of the year. After a pullback in May, another rally followed later; in November, the price rose to about €0,84. POWR then fell back and ended the year around €0,36, still about 369,8% higher than at the start. In July, Powerledger announced plans to move its energy blockchain to a Solana-based environment; POWR would remain an Ethereum token.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0,1093 - €0,739
    POWR surged to about €0,74 in early January, but then declined throughout the year. In May, TerraUSD and Luna collapsed, putting heavy stress on the crypto market. The fall of FTX in November brought renewed broad turmoil. POWR ended the year around €0,11, about 69% lower than at the start. In June, staking became available, allowing holders to lock up their POWR and support participation in the energy network.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0,1098 - €0,419
    POWR mostly traded around €0,11 to €0,20 in the first half of the year and fell to about €0,11 in June. After that, the price moved higher, with a strong jump in October to about €0,42. After a pullback in November, recovery followed again in December; POWR ended the year around €0,334, about 195,3% higher than at the start. In July, smartCOMMUNITY launched in Austria, where participants could share and trade excess solar energy.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0,1289 - €1,1149
    POWR rose quickly to about €1,11 in the first week of January and then dropped sharply. In March, the price briefly climbed back above €0,40, but in August it fell to around €0,129. A recovery later in the year brought POWR to around €0,264 by the end of December. At the start of 2024, the U.S. regulator approved spot bitcoin ETFs, an important step for accessing bitcoin through traditional exchanges. In March, Powerledger introduced xGrid 2.0, with more information about energy and emissions and more flexible options for energy trading. In October, Powerledger completed its integration with Solana and began phasing out its own blockchain. That also brought an end to the earlier staking program for POWR.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0,0612 - €0,3116
    POWR started the year around €0,264 and peaked in January at about €0,312. After that, the price gradually declined, with a brief rebound in July, before POWR ended up around €0,0612 in December. The price ended the year around €0,071, about 73,1% lower than at the start. In January, POWR became tradable via Raydium and Jupiter on Solana; in February, Powerledger also enabled direct token transfers between Ethereum and Solana.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,04762 - €0,093938
    POWR rose to nearly €0,094 in early January, but fell in the weeks that followed. In early February, the price dropped to around €0,0476. After that, it mostly traded around €0,05 to €0,06 and ended the quarter at about €0,0537, about 24,4% lower than at the start. In March, Powerledger launched Transactive Lite, a simpler way to test local electricity trading using existing meter data.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,0345105 - €0,0630885
    POWR mostly traded around €0,05 to €0,06 in April and May. In June, the price fell further and ended up around €0,0345. After that, there was a short, sharp rebound to about €0,063, but it did not last: POWR ended the quarter around €0,0395, about 26,3% lower than at the start. In April, ESMA said providers had to let customers switch in an orderly way or wind down their services before the end of the MiCA transition period.

    POWR traded around €0,03 to €0,04 in July and the first half of August, then fell to about €0,0301 in mid-August. After that, the price recovered gradually. In September, a stronger rally followed, with a peak around €0,0798, after which POWR pulled back and ended the quarter around €0,0592.
