  • 2021 - Price range: €0,3332 - €5,101
    The price was around €0.33 in September and then quickly rose to about €5.10 in November, an increase of about 1431.2%. It then fell back and ended the year around €3.24. In May, the independent developer community adopted the name TON Foundation, and the coin got the name Toncoin; this was a continuation of TON technology by an independent project.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0,7223 - €3,468
    TON started the year around €3.24 and dropped sharply in the first half, to about €0.72 in June. After that, the price recovered, with a bounce in August and September, and ended the year around €2.03. The collapse of Terra and UST caused major turmoil in the crypto market in May; in November, new market stress followed the fall of FTX. That same month, Telegram added collectible usernames that were traded on TON.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0,9624 - €2,621
    TON started the year around €2.03, but fell to about €0.96 in the summer. After that, the price recovered strongly and rose to about €2.62 in November, before dropping back to around €2.13 at the end of the year. In September, Telegram and TON Foundation announced a partnership around TON services in Telegram, including the self-custody wallet TON Space and access to Telegram's ad infrastructure. Over the full year, the price rose about 5%.
  • 2024 - Price range: €1,789 - €7,794
    TON started the year around €2.13 and climbed quickly in the spring. In June, the price reached about €7.79. After that, it pulled back, but TON ended the year around €5.31: about 148.8% higher than at the start. In March, Telegram began sharing ad revenue with channel owners, and ads could be paid for with Toncoin. In April, USDT became available on TON. Later that year came the arrest of Pavel Durov and an outage in which TON produced no blocks for more than six hours.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0,6672 - €5,657
    TON started the year around €5.31 and then mostly declined, with temporary rebounds in March and July. On October 10, the price dropped sharply to about €0.67. After that, it recovered and TON ended the year around €1.41, still about 73.4% lower than at the start. That sharp drop came alongside a broader crypto sell-off after rising trade tensions between the United States and China, with many leveraged positions getting liquidated. In January, Telegram made TON the exclusive blockchain for Mini Apps.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,9551 - €1,664
    TON started the quarter around €1.41 and rose to about €1.66 in the first week. After that, the price gradually fell and reached about €0.96 in February. In March, the price mostly moved around €1.05 and ended the quarter at that level, about 25.3% lower than at the start. That period came alongside an accelerated sell-off in the crypto market. In February, TON Foundation introduced TON Pay, software that lets merchants handle payments in Telegram Mini Apps without building all the payment connections themselves.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €1,038 - €2,472
    TON started the quarter around €1.05 and stayed mostly near that level in April. In early May, the price quickly climbed to about €2.47 in a few days. After that, it pulled back, and by the end of June TON was around €1.32, about 25.7% higher than at the start of the quarter. On April 9, Catchain 2.0 went live, which cut the average time between blocks from about 2.5 seconds to 400 milliseconds. On June 15, the token name changed from Toncoin to Gram after a community vote. Existing balances and addresses stayed the same, and no conversion was needed.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €1,119 - €1,613
    TON rose in early July from about €1.33 to around €1.61, but then gradually declined. In early September, the price fell to about €1.12. Later, it recovered and ended the quarter around €1.32, almost the same as at the start. In July, Telegram announced its own crypto wallet for Gram. In September, an initial, limited group of Telegram users got access to Gram Wallet; the broader rollout was still underway.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €1,195 - €1,407
    Through October 9, TON first moved around €1.35 and then fell to about €1.20. After that, the price recovered to around €1.30. On October 9, Telegram expanded access to its own Money wallet, which lets users send Gram within Telegram.

  • End of the freeze on early miners' wallets - Expected in Q1 2027 - On February 21, 2027, the freeze on 171 early miners' wallets expires. These wallets together hold 1,081,389,417 Gram. From that date, the owners can reactivate their wallets and possibly move the tokens. The tokens will not automatically enter circulation: for that, the owners must reactivate their wallets themselves and have access to their keys.
