Golem Price History


  • 2016 - Price range: €0,008287 - €0,01825
    GLM’s predecessor, GNT, was around €0,013 from mid-November and then rose shortly after to about €0,018. In December, the price fell to around €0,0083 and then recovered slightly. Golem completed its crowdfunding on November 11 in 29 minutes to develop a marketplace for computing power; GNT was meant for payments between providers and users of that computing power. By the end of December, the price was around €0,0093, about 49,3% lower than at the November peak.
  • 2017 - Price range: €0,008689 - €0,7942
    GLM started the year around €0,0093 and rose sharply over the course of the year. After a pullback in the summer, new swings followed; in December, the price quickly climbed to about €0,79. The rise lined up with the huge interest in token sales in 2017. In July, the U.S. regulator SEC warned that certain token sales could fall under securities laws. GLM ended the year around €0,70, about 7.478,7% higher than at the start.
  • 2018 - Price range: €0,04883 - €1,045
    GLM started the year around €0,71 and briefly rose to about €1,04 in January. After that, the price dropped sharply. In April, Brass Golem Beta became available on Ethereum mainnet, allowing users to offer computing power and buy services with real token payments. The broader crypto market shrank that year after the earlier speculative growth. GLM ended around €0,059, about 91,6% lower than at the start of the year.
  • 2019 - Price range: €0,02383 - €0,1054
    GLM started the year around €0,060. The price rose to about €0,105 in the spring, but then gradually fell back and ended around €0,026, about 56,5% lower than at the start of the year. In October, Golem released an update that let developers run computations with WebAssembly on the network. That gave the network a broader use case alongside its first application for rendering.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0,01864 - €0,1453
    GLM started the year around €0,026 and fell to about €0,019 in March. After that, the price recovered gradually, followed by a sharp rise in August to about €0,145. In November, Golem began the move from the original GNT token to the ERC-20 token GLM. That standard made GLM easier to use with Ethereum apps, including decentralized exchanges and DeFi. By the end of December, the price was around €0,091, about 252,9% higher than at the start of the year.
  • 2021 - Price range: €0,08281 - €0,8247
    GLM started the year around €0,091 and rose quickly in February and March. After a pullback in the spring, the price recovered later, with a strong rebound in November to about €0,82. In March, Golem released the first official beta of its revamped mainnet, with GLM payments and lower fees through zkSync. By the end of December, the price had fallen back to about €0,40, still 341,5% higher than at the start of the year.
  • 2022 - Price range: €0,1561 - €0,5538
    GLM started the year around €0,40 and rose to about €0,55 in February. After that, the price dropped sharply; in May, it fell to around €0,16. That weak period lined up with the collapse of TerraUSD and LUNA, which caused heavy stress in the crypto and DeFi market. In November, broad turmoil followed again because of the collapse of FTX. GLM ended the year around €0,166, about 58,6% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0,1444 - €0,3437
    GLM started the year around €0,166 and rose in January and February. After that, the price gradually fell, with a low around €0,144 in September. In November, GLM quickly recovered to about €0,344, after which the price fell back again. In February, Golem showed with a pilot project that the network could generate images with Stable Diffusion through decentralized GPU computing power. This was an early demonstration of an AI use case, not a full GPU marketplace. GLM ended the year around €0,221, about 33,3% higher than at the start.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0,1826 - €0,7233
    GLM started January around €0,22 and first fell to about €0,18. In February and early March, a sharp rise followed to about €0,72. Golem launched a test program for GPU providers at the end of January, allowing participants to rent out their GPU computers and receive GLM. With that, the network explored use cases for things like AI computing. The price fell later in the year, but ended December around €0,355, about 60,4% higher than at the start.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0,1333 - €0,4228
    GLM rose to about €0,423 in early January and then declined over the course of the year. In October, the price fell to around €0,133 during a broad crypto market sell-off after an escalation in trade tensions between the U.S. and China. That day, leveraged positions were forced to close on a large scale. GLM then partially recovered and ended the year around €0,185, about 47,8% lower than at the start. In February, Golem said development of Modelserve AI had been temporarily paused.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0,10475 - €0,3244
    GLM started January around €0,185 and rose in the first half of the month to about €0,324. After that, the price fell almost continuously and reached about €0,105 in March. In March, the SEC and CFTC explained how U.S. securities laws apply to crypto assets and transactions. GLM ended the quarter around €0,110, about 40,4% lower than at the start.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0,07842 - €0,1351
    GLM started April around €0,110 and rose in May to about €0,135. After that, the price fell, with a low around €0,078 at the end of June, followed by a recovery to about €0,093 at the end of the quarter. In April, several crypto exploits, including incidents at KelpDAO and Drift Protocol, raised concerns about security and possible effects on other DeFi services.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0,073465 - €0,1458
    GLM started July around €0,093 and mostly moved around that level that month. In August, the price fell to about €0,073 and then bounced back strongly, with a peak around €0,146. In September, the price kept rising and ended the quarter around €0,112. That same month, the U.S. Senate blocked further progress on legislation for a broader regulatory framework for crypto, keeping uncertainty around oversight in place.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0,109985 - €0,12244
    In the first nine days of October, GLM rose from about €0,112 to a peak around €0,122. After a drop to about €0,110, the price recovered and stood around €0,119 on October 9.
