  • 2022 - Price range: €2.70 - €60.92
    EthereumPoW launched on September 15, after Ethereum switched to proof of stake. The price briefly peaked above €60 that day, but quickly fell back below €10. ETHW then kept dropping. In November, the collapse of FTX caused broad turmoil across the crypto market. ETHW ended the year around €2.76, about 95.5% lower than the September peak.
  • 2023 - Price range: €1.05 - €4.81
    ETHW started January around €2.76 and climbed to about €4.81 in early February. After that, the price gradually declined, hitting a low around €1.05 in October. In December, a strong recovery followed and ETHW closed the year around €3.18, about 14.9% higher than at the start. In December, EthereumPoW Core announced it would dissolve the development organization and move to independent, decentralized governance; the blockchain kept running.
  • 2024 - Price range: €1.3967 - €5.75
    ETHW started the year around €3.18 and rose to about €5.75 in March. After that, the price fell back and reached about €1.40 in August. In the final months, ETHW recovered, but the price ended up almost at the same level as at the start: around €3.17. In March, Ethereum activated the Dencun upgrade, which lowered the cost of storing data for rollups. That upgrade applied to Ethereum, not to EthereumPoW.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.4034 - €3.6449
    ETHW started the year around €3.17 and climbed to about €3.64 in early January. After that, the price dropped sharply, with a brief rebound in April and May, but the recovery did not last. In July, Bitfinex stopped trading ETHW. In December, Kraken and BTSE also ended trading in the token. ETHW closed December around €0.44, about 86.1% lower than at the start of the year.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.2079 - €0.5277
    ETHW rose to about €0.53 in early January, but then fell for almost the entire period. In March, the price was around €0.21. ETHW ended the quarter at €0.2148, about 51.4% lower than at the start. In February, BTSE ended the option to withdraw ETHW. In early March, Kraken completed the delisting process after trading had already been stopped in December.
  • Q2 2026 - Price range: €0.1813 - €0.4071
    ETHW first moved around €0.21 in April and then quickly rose to about €0.41. That rally did not last: in May, the price fell back, and in June it dropped to about €0.18. ETHW closed the quarter at €0.1926, about 10.3% lower than at the start. In April, BIT stopped supporting ETHW and Bitget removed the ETHW/USDT spot trading pair.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.18625 - €0.2893
    ETHW started July around €0.19 and briefly rose above €0.24 early in the month. After that, the price fell back and mostly traded around €0.20 in August. In September, ETHW moved up again and the price peaked around €0.29. The quarter ended at €0.2538, about 31.8% higher than at the start. On July 1, the transition period under MiCA in the EU ended; after that, providers could no longer rely on temporary national rules for services that require a MiCA license.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.22285 - €0.2685
    Through October 9, ETHW first moved around €0.25 and rose to about €0.27 in early October. After that, it fell to about €0.22, followed by a recovery to €0.2476 on October 9. That was about 2.4% lower than on October 1.
