Band Price History

  • 2019 - Price range: €0.1852 - €0.8447
Band Protocol 1.0 went live in September. On September 17, Band raised $5.85 million through a token sale on Binance Launchpad. The price rose in the second half of September to about €0.84, then gradually declined. By the end of November, the price was around €0.19, and the year ended at about €0.20, more than 76.6% lower than the September peak.
  • 2020 - Price range: €0.1868 - €15.00
Band started the year around €0.20 and fell to about €0.19 during the market turmoil in March. After that, the price climbed quickly: in July it rose above €4 and in August to about €15. In June, BandChain went live, making Band staking possible on its own blockchain. The oracle function, which lets the network provide external data to blockchain apps, followed in October. The price ended the year around €4.37, about 70.9% lower than the August peak.
  • 2021 - Price range: €3.423 - €19.35
Band started the year around €4.37 and rose to about €19.35 in April. In May, a broad sell-off hit the crypto market, after which the price fell back to around €3.42 in June. Later, Band partially recovered and ended the year around €4.42, almost the same as at the start of January. In September, BandChain moved to the Laozi mainnet; in October, data requests were migrated and oracle functionality was enabled through IBC for data sharing between blockchains.
  • 2022 - Price range: €1.014 - €6.11
Band started the year around €4.42 and briefly rose to about €6.11 in early January. After that, the price fell, with a sharp drop in May when TerraUSD lost its peg to the dollar and the Terra/LUNA system collapsed. The price kept weakening and reached about €1.01 in October. In November, the collapse of FTX caused new broad turmoil in the crypto market. Band then partially recovered and ended the year around €1.31, about 70.3% lower than at the start.
  • 2023 - Price range: €0.7898 - €2.261
Band started the year around €1.31 and rose above €2 in January. In the months that followed, the price pulled back and fell to about €0.79 in August. Band then gradually recovered, and the price climbed to about €2.26 at the end of December before closing the year around €1.99. That was about 52% higher than at the start of the year. In March, USDC temporarily lost its peg to the dollar after Circle said part of its reserves were held at Silicon Valley Bank; the event showed how dependent DeFi stablecoins are on banks.
  • 2024 - Price range: €0.8145 - €2.609
Band started January around €1.99 and rose to about €2.61 in March. After that, the price declined, with a temporary bounce in April, and fell to about €0.81 in August. By the end of the year, Band recovered to around €1.36. In early January, the SEC approved listings of U.S. spot bitcoin ETPs, a new regulated way to get bitcoin exposure through securities. In March, Band announced that its oracle was also available on Soroban, Stellar's smart contract platform. In November, the project announced the Band name and plans for Oracle v3; the launch followed in 2025.
  • 2025 - Price range: €0.2511 - €1.589
Band started the year around €1.36 and briefly rose to about €1.59 in early January. After that, the price fell for almost the entire year, with a temporary bounce in August, and reached about €0.25 in December. The year ended around €0.28, about 79.8% lower than where it started. In July, Band v3 went live on mainnet. The updated setup bundled data streams and delivery routes for oracle data, so blockchain apps could request that data. In August, the project presented Band as a broader data layer for AI and Web3.
  • Q1 2026 - Price range: €0.1623 - €0.3413
Band started January around €0.28 and briefly rose to about €0.34 in the middle of the month. After that, the price dropped through January and February, reaching around €0.16 by the end of February. A small recovery followed in March; the quarter ended around €0.18, about 35.5% lower than where it started. In January, Band launched Membit Insight, a market intelligence product based on social data from the Membit network. In March, the SEC published an explanation of how federal securities rules apply to different types of crypto and activities like staking.

In June, Band fell further to around €0.12 and ended the quarter at about €0.12, 31.1% lower than at the start. In April, about $292 million worth of rsETH was stolen from a cross-chain bridge at KelpDAO after attackers manipulated external verification infrastructure. The incident showed how vulnerable message handling between blockchains can be. Band Protocol itself was not involved in the attack.
  • Q3 2026 - Price range: €0.1191 - €0.2042
Band started July around €0.12 and later that month rose to about €0.15. After a pullback in August, the price climbed further in September and reached about €0.20 by the end of the quarter. Band closed September around €0.19, 57.8% higher than at the start of July. In July, Band VRF went live on OPN Chain. That gave developers on that network access to random outcomes that can be publicly verified. In September, the Federal Reserve raised the policy rate by 0.25 percentage points to 3.75-4.00%.
  • Q4 2026 - Price range: €0.1872 - €0.2400
