What Is FLock.io (FLOCK)?

FLock.io is a decentralized AI platform built with privacy in mind. Its main purpose is to let people train, validate, and trade AI models without putting all the data in one central place. That makes it easier for developers, researchers, and organizations to collaborate without exposing raw data.

The platform is designed for a few different use cases. These include joint model training across multiple parties, trading models as digital assets, and running training and validation workflows in the AI Arena. Participants can earn rewards there.

How Does FLock.io (FLOCK) Work?

FLock.io works through federated learning. In practice, that means multiple participants train a model together while their data stays in its own place. The calculations happen locally, and only the combined updates are shared to improve the model.

The platform has a few key parts. Training and validation take place in the AI Arena. In the AI Marketplace, users can buy and use models. With the Flock Open Model Offering, also known as FOMO, models can be issued as tradable digital assets.

The ecosystem runs on Base. That’s where token management, staking, and governance are handled. Governance means token holders can help decide on the network. Model-related assets are also stored there. The network works with validators and delegators. Validators handle the technical side of the network and process participation and rewards. Delegators can lock up tokens and earn passively without needing to run a technical setup themselves.

The FLOCK token plays a central role. You can earn FLOCK by training or validating models. You can also use the token for staking and delegation. In addition, FLOCK is used for governance, discounts on API usage, and as a payment method within the AI Marketplace and FOMO products.
