Additional Information about Particle Network (PARTI)

What Is Particle Network (PARTI)?

Particle Network (PARTI) is a Layer-1 blockchain built around chain abstraction. In simple terms, it aims to make the steps between different blockchains easier to handle. A big part of that is the Universal Account, which gives users one account that works across multiple chains.

With a Universal Account, people can keep one balance and trade on different blockchains without constantly managing new accounts or keys. That makes Web3 easier for both users and developers.

Particle Network also aims to support shared liquidity and simple cross-chain payments. Liquidity here means there are enough funds available to complete transactions. The PARTI token plays a role in the network and is used for settlement and governance. Those are the rules for handling transactions and helping decide how the network is run.

How Does Particle Network (PARTI) Work?

Particle Network runs on its own Particle Chain. This modular Layer-1 blockchain coordinates chain abstraction and handles tasks that span multiple chains. The Particle Chain processes cross-chain operations and acts as an intermediate layer, so transactions that start on other blockchains can still be verified and settled in one place.

The network uses components like relayers, bundlers, and watchtowers to help process cross-chain transactions. Particle Network also uses the idea of Universal Liquidity, which is meant to better align assets and payments across different chains. As a result, users can, for example, pay gas with different tokens, which makes the experience simpler.

For security and data availability, Particle Network uses mechanisms like dual staking and AggDA. With dual staking, operators are split across two pools: one with PARTI delegations and one with BTC delegations. That gives the chain security from both staking mechanisms. The PARTI token is also used as an economic unit within the ecosystem and plays a role in settlement in certain cross-chain situations.

Who Are the Founders of Particle Network?

Particle Network was founded in 2022 by Pengyu Wang and Tao Pan. Pengyu Wang is the co-founder and CEO, while Tao Pan is the co-founder and CTO.

Both founders have experience in mobile games and technology. Before Particle Network, they worked together on MiniJoy, a social gaming platform. With Particle Network, they wanted to make it easier for developers to add Wallets and other blockchain features to their apps.

At first, the project focused mainly on Wallet-as-a-Service and account abstraction. Later, the focus expanded to Universal Accounts, which let users use different blockchains through one account and a combined balance.
