What is CARV (CARV)?

CARV is a project that builds infrastructure for AI, data, and digital identity. The goal is to give users more control over their data and make it possible for AI agents and other applications to use that data securely.

An important part is CARV ID. This allows a user's data and activity across different online environments to be linked to one digital identity. The D.A.T.A. framework also collects and verifies data from different sources so AI agents can use this information. CARV Play focuses mainly on gaming and brings together games, rewards, and user profiles.

CARV combines AI with blockchain technology. For this, the project developed the CARV SVM Chain, a Layer 2 that uses the Solana Virtual Machine and is connected to Ethereum for settlement and finality. In addition, CARV uses verifier nodes, zero-knowledge technology, and Trusted Execution Environments to verify data and computations without unnecessarily exposing sensitive information.

How does CARV (CARV) work?

CARV consists of several technical components that work together to collect, verify, and make data available to users and AI agents. The CARV SVM Chain is a Layer 2 that uses the Solana Virtual Machine but is built on top of Ethereum. Ethereum is used for settlement, checking state roots, and recording cryptographic proofs.

The D.A.T.A. framework stands for Data Authentication, Trust and Attestation. This system collects on-chain and off-chain data and checks whether this information is reliable. In doing so, CARV uses, among other things, Trusted Execution Environments, also known as TEE, and zero-knowledge technology. A TEE is a protected environment where sensitive data can be processed securely. Zero-knowledge proofs make it possible to verify that something is correct without making all underlying information public.

CARV ID uses the ERC-7231 standard to bring together data and identities from different Web2 and Web3 environments. Verifier nodes check proofs and attestations and help secure the data layer. CARV also uses smart contracts for components such as staking, verifier nodes, and the distribution of rewards.

The CARV token is used for transaction fees, compute, rewards, governance, and staking. Users can lock CARV and receive veCARV in return. veCARV is non-transferable and is used, among other things, for governance and certain rewards within the ecosystem.

The total supply is 1,000,000,000 CARV . These tokens are made available over a period of four years according to the project's vesting schedule.

Who are the founders of CARV ?

CARV was founded by a team of entrepreneurs and developers with experience in technology, gaming, AI, and blockchain. Victor Yu is one of the publicly known co-founders of the project and serves in a leading operational role within CARV .

Before CARV , Yu worked at McKinsey and investment firm IDG Capital, among others. He also studied at Harvard Business School. During this period, he came into contact with other members of the founding team and began developing CARV .
