What Is Tria (TRIA)?

Tria is a self-custodial neobank and a cross-chain routing and execution layer that lets people trade on-chain, earn yield, and make real-world payments without custodial middlemen or having to bridge assets manually. It uses chain abstraction through the BestPath AVS, so users can move assets across multiple chains as if they were using one seamless system.

The platform supports Visa card payments, yield products, and developer SDKs. Tria is built for creators, freelancers, and people who earn and live on-chain. The TRIA token was issued as an ERC-20 on Ethereum and is used on the platform for utility and governance.

How Does Tria (TRIA) Work?

Tria works through an app layer for chain abstraction and a cross-chain routing stack, all combined in BestPath AVS. It routes orders, swaps, and execution across multiple blockchains, so users do not have to manually use bridges or manage separate gas tokens. The technical setup includes front-end products and SDKs that let both end users and integrators handle transactions and payments through the BestPath abstraction.

The TRIA token is an ERC-20 token on the Ethereum network and, for transaction processing, falls under Ethereum's underlying consensus mechanism, which uses Proof-of-Stake. The documentation also describes on-chain integrations, a self-custodial custody model with certain permissioned components, and smart contract tooling that supports the token's functionality.
