Finst will delist Tether (USDT) and Dai (DAI)

Finst will delist Tether (USDT) and Dai (DAI)

We would like to inform you that Tether (USDT) and Dai (DAI) will be delisted from our platform on January 31st at 12:00 CET.

Our decision to delist USDT and DAI is in line with the recent guidance issued by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) and the European Commission regarding the obligations for crypto-asset service providers (CASPs) under the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation. Given that USDT and DAI are currently not compliant with the new MiCA regulation, we can no longer offer them on the Finst platform.

What does this mean for you?

  • Buying, depositing and withdrawing USDT and DAI will remain possible until January 31st, 12:00 CET.

  • Selling USDT and DAI will remain possible until February 3rd at 12:00 CET.

  • If you still hold any USDT and/or DAI balance on the 3rd of February at 12:00 CET, we will convert these to USD Coin (USDC) on your behalf at the best available market price against regular transaction fees.

  • All open orders on USDT and DAI will be canceled on January 31st, 12:00 CET

  • USDC will remain available on our platform as an alternative to USDT and DAI.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
